Privacy & cookies
We are an AI governance firm. We hold ourselves to the standard we advise clients to meet: collect only what we need, be specific about why, and make it easy to say no. Last updated June 2026.
Who we are
This site is operated by Acuity AI Consulting Limited, based in Kildare, Ireland. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact hello@acuityai.co. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect, and why
Enquiries you send us
When you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, organisation and message. We use this only to respond to you and, if it leads to work, to manage the engagement. Form submissions are handled through Brevo, our email and forms provider. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Aggregate site analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, which measures page views and traffic in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you. No consent is required for this because no personal data is collected. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful.
Behavioural analytics — only with your consent
If you accept cookies, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — scroll depth, engagement and anonymised session activity — so we can improve it. Clarity sets cookies and is provided by Microsoft, acting as our processor. It loads only after you click Accept, and not at all if you decline or ignore the banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the choice in your browser. Legal basis: your consent.
Cookies
The site sets no non-essential cookies unless you consent. If you accept, Microsoft Clarity sets cookies to recognise returning sessions and produce its analytics. We store your consent choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask on every visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of providers, each acting under their own terms and, where relevant, as our data processor:
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and, where it leads to an engagement, for the period required by our records and tax obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the providers' standard retention. We do not keep personal data longer than we need it.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@acuityai.co.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
